What We Do

Glasgow's parks, gardens, and wild riverbanks make it our beloved Dear Green Place, and nature is waiting on our doorsteps, ready to connect.

Our mission is to get city dwellers out into nature so they can experience the benefits and feel at home. We do this by delivering forest school sessions, training, wellbeing and nature craft events throughout Glasgow.

Education & Training

Glasgow Forest School delivers the Forest & Outdoor Learning Award (FOLA) - Scotland’s recognised forest school qualification, accredited to the SCQF.

Becoming a Forest School leader is about more than gaining a qualification - it’s about learning how to guide others into meaningful, playful and confidence-building experiences in nature.

Our training supports you to facilitate outdoor learning with care, creativity and purpose, while deepening your own connection to the natural world.

Rave Reviews

“My daughter loves her sessions and forest school is the only thing she wants to do when she's off. She's learned so many skills that she would otherwise never get to do... whittling, learning and making fires safely.”

- forest school parent

“Forest school is really fun, I got to make things and cook yummy food over the camp fire”

- forest school child

“This is the best day of my life”

- forest school child

“She loves going, always has great time and not fussed getting muddy on walks at the weekend! I love the craft activities and that the kids make their camp together. The fresh air and sense of freedom and independence the kids get is priceless.”
